Assembly Election Results for Chenari Constituency:
Chhedi Paswan from RJD won from here in Oct, but RJD chose Mahendra Ram to contest the Feb 2005 polls, who lost to JD(U) candidate. In Oct 2005, RJD changed candidate to Jawahar Paswan, but the result was the same as JD(U) candidate won again. For 2010, Lalan Paswan switched to RJD and subsequently lost to JD(U) candidate.
