Assembly Results for Harsidhi Constituency:

Harsidhi votes for its parties and not for the candidates. Maheshwar Singh lost the seat being a JD(U) member, but won it on SAP and in 2005 on LJP seat. AWADHESH PRASAD KUSHWAHA lost it on JD (U) seat as well, but won it on LJP ticket.

East Champaran had 12 constituencies in Bihar Assembly for 2005 Elections: Raxaul, Sugauli, Motihari, Adapur, Dhaka, Ghorasahan, Madhuban, Pipra, Kesariya, Harsidhi, Govindganj, Kateya. After the delimitation rule came into effect, East Champaran now has 13 Vidhansabha constituencies. The new ones are: Chiraia, Kalyanpur and Narkatiya.
