East Champaran had 12 constituencies in Bihar Assembly for 2005 Elections: Raxaul, Sugauli, Motihari, Adapur, Dhaka, Ghorasahan, Madhuban, Pipra, Kesariya, Harsidhi, Govindganj, Kateya.
