Opinion Polls for Assembly Elections 2011

Kerala, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Assam and Pondicherry are going to polls in 2011 and we bring to you the opinion polls carried out by major news agncies for the outcome of the Assembly elections in these states.

10th May: Exit Polls

The first predictions have come out from CVoters survey which says that Left front is looking downwards in both West bengal and Kerala. TMC will rout Left in West Bengal while Congress will end LDF's Govt in Kerala. AIADMK is set to register a big win in Tamil Nadu. Assam is expected to see a close finish between Congress and AGP+BJP combine.

AajTak-ORG survey is predicting a strong result for DMK-Cong in Tamil Nadu which is quite different from all other predictions. Even IBN7 predicts a better result for DMK then thought before.

14th April: Opinion Poll By Star News-Nielsen

For West Bengal:

Star News & Nielsen survey suggests that TMC will have a free hand in West Bengal reducing Left to just 74 seats. TMC on i ts own will get complete majority and won't even need Congress support.
