11th IIFA Awards 2010, Colombo, Sri Lanka
| International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards 2010 were held at Colombo in Sri Lanka on June 4th. IIFA has been conceptualized by Wizcraft International Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. and it started in the year 2000. Currently, in its 11th iteration, it is the biggest South Asian media event. Apart from the awards night, IIFA has a weekend of film-festivals, workshops, exhibitions, film-showcases, global business forums and sporting events.
The 2010 awards mostly went to "3 Idiots" as it completely swept the awards winning 16 of the 27 categories.
