Plot: his comic crime thriller is a promise to entertain the people with apt wit and sense. The story Chaalis Chauraasi is about a police van with number plate MH-02-A- 4084 that has four cops on board. These police men are Pankaj Suri aka Sir (Naseeruddin Shah), Balvinder Singh aka Bobby (Atul Kulkarni), Albert Pinto aka Pinto (KK Menon) and Shakti Chinappa aka Shakti (Ravi Kishan). When they are appointed for a mission to accomplish, they take it as a brilliant opportunity to make it bright future. Then comes a twist when another police officer stops them on the way and instead of allowing them going for their mission take all of them along him as his backup to grab a dangerous criminal.
