 Love Aaj Kal (2009)
After movies like "Socha Na Tha" and the refreshing blockbuster "Jab We met", Director Imtiaz Ali comes out with another love story "Love Aaj Kal". Although his presentation is quite similar in style, the movie might not seem as enjoyable to many as Jab We Met did. The movie has Saif and Deepika playing the lead roles of a modern and carrier oriented couple who live in London.
After a year long love affair, Meera (Deepika Padukone) and Jai (Saif Ali Khan) decide to aprt their ways because Meera needs to leave for New Delhi, india and she doesn't believe in love over a long-distance relationship.Although they part ways easily, it's their parents who can not understand how love and relationship can be broken so easily. So, we get to see glimpses of a side story featuring Jai's dad, Veer (Rishi Kapoor) in the 1960's and his persual of Harleen (Neetu Singh). Soon Jai realises what his father meant about true love.
The movie has it's ups and downs. The over use of Hinglish lingo to prrove that Saif and Deepika belong to the modern generation seems a bit over the top. The first half is little slow and the second half is full of melodrama and emotional scenes. But overall, the movie can be viewed once just for the enrgy Saif brings to it and the way Imtiaz carries the story forward.

All About Bollywood, Indian Style!
Ravi Baswani, a veteran actor of several memorable roles, died on Tuesday of a massive heart attack in Haldwani, Nainital. He was just 64 and would be sorely missed by many.
Ravi Baswani started his career in Bollywood with Sai Paranjpe’s Chashme Buddoor in 1981. His role as a student named Jai Lakhanpal, nicknamed Jomo, was appreciated by all.
The one role for which Ravi Baswani will always be remembered for is the part he played in Kundan Shah’s 1983 movie Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron. Acting as Sudhir Mishra, an idealist photographer, Ravi brough the role to life with superb timing and acting. The role create a masterpiece of the movie and has been revered by all till date. He won a Filmfare Best Comedian Award for this role.
For an actor of such good caliber, his appearances were definitely few. The last one remembers of him in a notable role was playing a grandfather in the hit Sony serial Just Mohabbat. He was an integral part of the series.
No doubt Ravi Baswani will be remembered for ever and sorely missed by all. Rest in Peace.
