Delhi Belly is for the youth

Delhi Belly is for the youth and it minces no two words about it. The movie has expletives, a lot of them, but to the youth, it will relate easily as the language is what we normally speak these days.

The movie doesn't seem to have any dull moments. The dialogues are witty, the acting is fluent and the story makes a lot of sense. The movie is not just about the dialogues, it actually has some great acting a decent storyline. The story is about three Delhi-based bachelors Tashi (Imran Khan), Arup (Vir Das) and Nitin (Kunal Roy Kapoor) who happen to be flatmates. Circumstances force them to cross paths with a goon, played exceptionally well by Vijay Raaz.

The movie makes no two ways about the fact that it's not for the family or for children. Aamir Khan has been on almost all channels clearly saying that the movie is not for children. So if you still go to watch the movie with your family or children, it'd your own choice. But the movie has no nudity, no erotic scenes...the only reason behind its adult certificate is the slang used. Delhi Belly's a great movie and anyone will love it.

But the movie will relate to the youth very easily. We talk in that language and we have been used to watching US films talk that way. Why our own actors used to speak normal Hindi was a big question till Delhi Belly happened. Most probably, after this, new movies will try to follow its steps and keep the dialogues more true to how the youth talks today.
