The Mascot for CWG 2010 
Shera has been chosen as the mascot for the 19th Commonwealth Games to be held in New Delhi in 2010. At the closing ceremony in Melbourne CG 2006, Shera was first showcased infront of the world. Shera appeals to all age groups and asks them to 'Come out and play' and to makes the games a huge success by actively participating in it. He outlines the facts our nation is proud of: majesty, courage, power and grace.
The Delhi 2010 Commonwealth Games Logo
India's national symbol Chakra inspired the logo for the 19th Commonwealth Games. Chakra symbolises freedom, unity and power. The spiral moving upwards has been used to depict India's march forward towards modernity, towards becoming a super power.
The Commonwealth Games 2010 Motto
"Come Out and Play" That's the motto for the Delhi CG 2010. It's an appeal to people of all ages to come forward anad participate, become a part of it.
