We take a look at the results and medals won by participating countries in Commonwealth Games since 1930 to till date. The games first started in 1930 and were known as the British Empire Games. Then in 1954, they came to be known as British Empire and Commonwealth Games. 1970 saw the name shortened to British Commonwealth Games and finally in 1978 it was coined as the Commonwealth Games.
