Parliamentary Election Results for Orissa
Orissa is situated in the eastern parts of India and has 21 constituencies for 2009 elections. Some have been added for 2009 because of the new delimitation rules, while some old constituencies have been removed. Although Congress was preferred till 1980's, the BJP-BJD combine grew in strength during the 1990's and early 2000. However, for this year, BJP and BJD are fighting this election alone.
