Rajasthan happens to be one of the largest states in India in terms of the area. Mostly comprising of the Thar Desert, Rajasthan has 33 districts, with it's capital at Jaipur. Rajasthan has traditionally seen a clear fight between the Congress and the BJP. If one term is ruled by the Congress, the other goes to BJP and vice versa.
All 25 seats in Rajasthan go to polls on 7th May '2009.

Rajasthan has 25 constituencies. Of these, 3 are reserved for the Scheduled Castes and 3 for Scheduled Tribes. With the new delimitation rules now in effect for the India 2009 Elections, Rajasthan sees some old constituencies give way to new ones like Jaipur Rural and Rajsamand.
