Goa Travel Guide & Tourist Spots

Travel India guide provides you with detailed information on Goa and its beaches. Once the pride of Portugal's eastern empire, this lush green State with its wide beaches still remains a little bit of "Portuguese Colonial" in many ways. Here Roman Catholicism still remains orthodox, good food and good wine still grace the humblest of tables, life is still full of song and dance and merriment to the lilting beat of guitar and drum.
Here, too, life is peaceful and serene, just the right atmosphere for the lazing holiday-maker seeking Sun-'n'-Sand, Food-'n'-Wine - or even old Forts and Temples. But for all Goa's enthusiasm for tourism, the new Goa is even more determined to make a success of its mineral wealth and industry.

Cuisine in Goa
Visitors to Goa tend to think that food and drink in Goa means the famous fish, curry, rice and feni package. But Goan cuisine, like the land itself, has many flavours and tastes with its vast treasure trove of culinary delicacies.
