Nexus One is one of the most advanced and feature rich phones to come out till date. The specifications are mind blowing. Google phone has a 3.7-inch OLED 800 x 480 display and runs a 1 GHz Snapdragon processor from Qualcomm. OLED provides a more vibrant and clear screen display then the current TFT-LCD screens. Other notable feature in Nexus One is a 5-megapixel camera which includes an LED flash and takes MPEG 4 videos. On comparison with iphone, Nexus One is miles ahead as iphone has a 3.5 inch display running on a 600-MHz chip.

Nexus has been made by Taiwan-based HTC while the software platform is Google’s Android 2.1 .The unlocked version in the US is priced at $530 (approximately Rs 24,300) while the phone costs $179 (approximately Rs 8,200) with a T-Mobile contract. The phone will be currently available in US, the UK, Hong Kong and Singapore. India will have to wait for sometime.

Does anyone know which type of video files are supported? I remember the Instinct solely could dl 3gp using opera mini. I downloaded the twist ap, possibly that is the problem? How can I watch videos from sites aside from youtube? Which file sorts? Usually I am given the choice of 3gp or mpeg4. Can’t get either to work. Thank you on your time! Rattling I wish I was eligible for the improve to EVO!

Although nexus never made it to India, it has already been dis-continued in US and Google has withdrawn from making the phone. They will continue to support the OS Android, but nexus story is over.
