Actor Nirmal Pandey dies of a heart attack

Bollywood actor Nirmal Pandey died today of a heart attack. He was majorly known for his role in the movie Bandit Queen.

Nirmal Pandey did his schooling from Nainital and then graduated from the National School of Drama. he then moved to London to act in some plays.

Nirmal Pandey’s first major break came with Shekhar Kapur’s Bandit Queen in 1994. He was then appreciated for his role as a transvestite in Daayraa, which won him a Best Actress Valenti award in France. Other movies such as Train To Pakistan (1998), Is Raat Ki Subah Nahi and Godmother, got him critical acclaim.

The news of his death will come as a shock to his fans. Initial reports, although unconfirmed, suggest heart attack as the reason behind Nirmal Pandey’s death.
