In Haridwar, amidst chants of ‘Bum Bum Bhole’ and praises of Lord Shiva, the naga sadhus marched towards Ganges. Several groups of naga sadhus had joined today in Haridwar to take the holy dip. The local authorities had assigned different time zones for the dips, and the first to take to water were the sadhus from Juna Akhara. 7 other sects of sadhus, including the Naga Sadhus, took the Holy dip as the day progressed. Some akharas have moved to Vrindavan to celebrate the day.

Next dates for the holy bath during the Haridwar Kumbh Mela are March 15 (Somvati Amavasya), March 16 (Nvasamvatsar), March 24 (Rama Navami), March 30 (Chaitra Purnima), April 14 (Mesh Sankranti) and April 28 (Baishakh Adimasaha Purnima).

Now i’m assuming you book marked it yourself and wanted to ask if social book-marking gets you a bunch of targeted traffic? Perhaps you could post on the subject. I’ve been considering doing some social bookmarking for a few of my sites but wasn’t certain if it would produce any positive results. Appreciate it.

Not really, for a smaller scale it does work, but overall it is not of much help.
