Reeling under severe temperatures and humid conditions across India, especially North India, people are wondering if rain will ever come. There’s some good news now, with Met department suggesting that Monsoon is on course to arrive by 30th May.
Cloud covers have already started forming at the Andaman seas. Correct weather conditions over Andaman sea are very important for a good monsoon in India. The south-west monsoon over south Andaman Sea, Nicobar Islands and adjoining southeast Bay of Bengal areas can start as soon as the next 24 hours. Once the monsoon starts overs Andaman seas, it’ll take 10 more days to reach mainland India, starting from Kerala.
Monsoon will bring a reprieve not just to the common man, but also cheer to millions of farmers across India. Last years drought and subsequent floods resulted in loss of crops, and a decent monsoon this season will help in the yields of rice, sugarcane, soybean and corn.
