26 CRPF men killed by Maoists in Chhattisgarh’s Narayanpur district

While the Govt continues to look the other way, innocent people and CRPF men continue to die on the hands of Maoists. 26 CRPF men killed by Maoists in Chhattisgarh’s Narayanpur district on Tuesday.

The maoists attacked a group of 70 CRPF personnel. The CRPF men were conducting a Road Opening Operation (ROP) on foot on the Narayanpur-Orcha road. The life of a CRPF officer, Assistant Commandant Gulati, was also lost in the attack. Maoists had called a two day bandh in the region, and the attack is being seen as a retaliation by the Maoists against the CRPF not adhering to their bandh-call. The Maoists took high-ground on the hilly regions of Jhadha Ghati, situated 3 km from Dhudhai, and ambushed the CRPF patrolling unit below.

The injured are being air-lifted to Jagdalpur.

In the same Narayanpur region, 8 CRPF men were killed on May 8th when Maoists had blown a vehicle.

While, the Maoists continue to kill at will, Congress led Govt at center has been busy increasing prices and killing common man. the Govt seems to have totally lost grip on governing the country and it’s a shame that there is no way a common man can bring the Govt down. So, all we cna do is wait for next four years and keep getting punished for choosing the wrong Govt.
