Diwali over, wait starts for Christmas

Diwali is one Indian festival everyone eagerly waits for. Lot of sweets, gifts, fireworks and happy faces all around just adds to the charm of Diwali Festival.

Diwali was celebrated across India on 5th Nov. Over the years, Diwali has become more of a community event rather than a family event. In Apartments, Diwali celebrations generally begin a day or two before the festival, with a community party. The Bengali community also celebrated Kali Pooja by setting up glorious pandals for the deity across India.

From being a fireworks-centric event, Diwali has now also moved towards mainly sweets and goods event. Diwali offers a wonderful time for shopkeepers to sell their stuff, especially in the electronics market field. LCD Tvs, mobiles and kitchen electronics were the best sellers this season. it’s also a good time to buy cars or a new home.

Now that Diwali is over, all eyes are now awaiting Christmas. The cheer that Diwali spreads will continue through the season and end only after Christmas and new Year celebrations.
