India successfully tested Prithvi-II surface-to-surface nuclear-capable missiles on Wednesday.
The Prithvi-II missiles are short ranged nuclear payload capable missiles. They have a range of 250 Kms or 220 miles. Today’s test was performed at the Integrated Test Range in Chandipur-on-sea, Orissa, under the supervision os range directore, S. P. Dash.
Earlier this year on Sep 24th, Prithvi-Ii failed a test launch due to some technical faults, however today’s test was successful.
