Congress adamant about no national flag in Srinagar Lal Chowk

Congress Govt in its second iteration first gave us corruption and scams, then it went on to give us rising prices, and now comes the time to teach us of how to have anti-India feelings. Making a mockery of our National Flag, Congress Govt and its like-minded allies are adamant about not letting the national flag rise at Lal Chowk in Srinagar.

There is no doubting the fact that BJP has political motivations behind the decision to hoist the national flag in Srinagar’s Lal Chowk on Republic Day. But BJP’s attempt to gain political mileage is nothing as compared to Congress’s will to stop the flag hoisting. Lal Chowk is in Srinagar, and every inch of Srinagar is an integral part of India. By saying that Indians can’t raise our own national flag on the spot is tantamount to saying that Lal Chowk area is not in India.

If Congress really feels that hoisting the flag will hurt certain sections in India, it needed to tell those certain sections to leave India and go live in Pakistan. By doing the opposite and stopping the flag from being hosted just proves that Congress is a party which survives on a policy of vote bank appeasement. The interesting thing here is that few miscreants hoisted a Pakistani flag at Lal Chowk two years back, and Congress had no words to say anything at that time. But when Indians are trying to hoist our flag, Congress is feeling bad about it. How bizarre!
