Minister in Goa Congress Govt held at Mumbai airport carrying $1 Lakh

Congress does it again. Adding to the list of corruption in their regime, Goa Congress Govt’s education minister Atanasio Monseratte was held at the Mumbai airport carrying $1 lakh.

Goa is under the rule of Indian National Congress since 2005 led by Digambar Kamat. Atanasio Monseratte, MLA from Taleigao, is the education minister in the Govt . The minister is said to have arrived at the Mumbai airport on a domestic flight and was scheduled to flying abroad. But, a timely tip-off had the custom officials waiting for him at the airport.

The minister from Congress Govt was found to be carrying $1 lakh dollar. He also had Rs. 2.5 million in our Indian currency. Why he was carrying this big amount and where did the money come from is anybody’s guess. In the recent month’s, Congress has given us such big scams that people are now starting to lose interest in news of another scam involving a minister in Congress govt! What’s hilarious is that just 15 days back, on March 15th, Monserrate stated that he would introduce transparency in the working…just shows how hollow our MLA promises are.
