Train accident in West Bengal, 30 injured

Two trains collided in West Bengal killing at least 2 and injuring 30 people.

Six bogies of Guwahati-Bangalore Express (12510) derailed near Malda district at around 7 p.m. At the same time, a passenger train, Azimganj-Malda Town, which was coming on the adjacent track, hit the derailed bogies of Guwahati-Bangalore Express.

Two bogies of the Guwahati-Bangalore Express are said to have caught fire.

This adds to the long list of train accidents ever since Rail Ministry was handed over to TMC under UPA 2. While Mamata was busy planning her victory in West Bengal, innocent lives were left to be lost in these freak train accidents because of lack of accountability in Railway Ministry.
