Punjab opinion poll predicts Congress win in Punjab elections 2012

Punjab opinion poll shown on 23rd Jan 2012 by Star News predicts that Congress will have an easy win in Punjab elections 2012.

Punjab Assembly elections are due on 30th Jan when 117 constituencies of Punjab will go to polls. 2007 saw Akali Dal-BJP combine win 68 seats and coming to power. Congress ended as the second largest party in the state with 44 seats.

In 2012 Opinion polls by Star News, Congress is said to gain 19 seats and end up with 63 seats on its own. Akali Dal-BJP combine will end up losing 15 seats and end up 53 seats only. 1 seat will go to Others. If this survey prediction comes true, Congress will make a comeback in the State which will give it a massive boost for the upcoming 2014 Lok Sabha elections as well.

Punjab Election results will be declared on 6th March.

    Sir i dnt know why are you favouring congress? Let me clear if starnews and ajtak survey showed congress ahead in punjab than india tv , news 24, ibn7live exit poll showed akali bjp are regaining power in punjab. But i dnt know why your giving undue advantage to congress by publishing pro congress openion polls? When three openion polls are against congress.
