1.Drink plenty of water
Drinking plenty of water everyday leads to a more active metabolism.You should aim for at least 8 glasses of water everyday.Make sure you carry a water bottle with you everywhere so you can have it when you are thirsty.Also adding lemon juice to water and drinking it up will rejuvenate the salts your body lost during the workout.
Cardio is one of the most fast methods to lose that belly fat as it gets your heart pumping .When you are exercising,belly fat is the first thing that gets the most attention and hence the first thing that starts to burn off.If you are a beginner start with 3 days a week cardio session and then increase as you keep working on.
3.Skip the crunches for now
If you have excessive tires or fat on your stomach,it is best if you skip crunches for now as they mainly focus on abs and will make your tummy look flabby.Hence it is best to lose some of that stomach before getting back on crunches.
4.Reduce calories consumption
This one is pretty obvious.It takes 3500 calories to lose one pound,so start by aiming to lose 2 pounds per week,that is , 7000 calories per week.Lose all the junk food and soda and you might already be there halfway.Mix your diet with an organized workout session and losing 7000 calories per week wont seem that implausible.
5.Add fiber to your diet
Fibers are found in apples,oats etc.They help in burning of the visceral fact,which is the fat that is located in your abdomen and stomach region.The skin on fruits and vegetables is the part with excessive amount of fiber so make sure you DONT peel the apple when you eat it.
