Constituency & State Maps for India 2009 Election

India is united by 28 states and 7 union territories. These states and Union Territories of India, in turn, comprise of several districts, towns, cities and villages. India follws a democratic form of electing its Government and this involves the election procedure to be carried out across India. For the India Parliamentary election process, we have 543 constituencies spread across the 35 states and Union Territories. In 2009 elections, owing to the delimitation rules, the geographical boundaries for several constituencies were changed. Some new constituencies were made, while some old one's were merged.
