Beaches in Goa

Undoubtedly, Goa remains a favourite with the tourists. Cool sea breezes, glistening sands & warm sun are a part of the pristine beaches that makes Goa what it is today. Beaches in Goa:

Baga Beach:

Anjuna Beach:
This beach is one of the most hip and happening beach and is known for its rave culture and parties, especially during the Christmas new Year season.

Dona Paula:
Dotted with palms and casuarinas, Dona Paula is quite a hotspot, for its beauty and romantic legend that gave the beach its name. The beach offers water sports facilities, especially water scootering.

Colva:
Colva Beach is a highly commercialised ebach with resort complexes, large holiday crowds, trinket stalls, discos & restaurants.

Majorda:
Majorda lies 2 Km north of Colva, and is a pretty beach dominated by a luxury resort, hotels, restaurants, shops, boutiques and the best European bakeries in Goa.

Calangute:
This is Goa's most popular beach. Totally commercialised but this sizzling hotspot offers good sunbathing, and some really delicious food.

Goa Wildlife :

Tourists generally visit goa to see only temples, sea beaches, churches, good sea food or fenny, the local wine The Wildlife Sanctuarybut real Goa also lies in its wild life. There are 4 to 5 wild life sanctuaries which are ideal spots to spend a night at:

1. Cotigao wild life Sanctuary, 86 sq km , canacona(south goa--from margao 30 km     towards paolem sae beach,one of the lovely beach in GOA): booking of cottage     Rs. 400 to Rs. 500.

2. Bhagwan Mahavir Sanctuary, 240 sq.km, molem(from Ponda 20 km ), nearby     Dudhsagar water falls -- Rooms available for Rs 500 to 800.

3. Bondla wildlife Sanctuary, 20sq. km(from Usgaonkar, south Goa 10 km).

4. Netravali wildlife Sanctuary extreme south of goa, 21 sq.km.
    You can find easily big python,King cobra,leopard ,wild bores and varieties of birds.
